PE File Resource Editor
Resource Types Supported by Resource Tuner
Double-clicking a resource opens a separate Resource Editor for that resource. You can extract and save to disk a particular resource or multiple resources at once. Resource Tuner recognizes the following resource types:

PE File Resource Basics
Resources are data embedded in a PE file (EXE, DLL, or other executable file types). Resources define the visible portions of your Windows program and provide a consistent user interface that makes it easy for users to switch from one Windows program to another. Resources can contain data in a number of forms, including strings, images, dialogs, and persisted objects. In general, a Windows application's resources are separated from the program code, letting you make significant changes to the interface without recompiling your entire application.
