Hex Editor Window
The FlexHEX edit window is divided into three panes: the main Hex pane, the ANSI/MBCS pane, and the rightmost one is the UNICODE pane.
When you type in either of the panes, the other two are changed accordingly. The Modified pane in the lower left part of the FlexHEX window lists all the areas that have been modified.
Unlimited Multilevel Undo List
Every modification you made to the file is listed here. Just click the position to which you wish to undo or redo.
Editing NTFS Alternate Streams
There is a lot of non-critical information that alternate streams is the most natural place to store to. FlexHex will let you see and edit this information.
User-defined Data Fields
The Data Field pane lists all defined data fields and lets you navigate them quickly. Data field is simply a file area to which the user assigned a type and, optionally, a name.
