Load all resources

There's an option in the resource editor part of PE Explorer to   save multiple resources to disk - but there's no option to do the reverse.  Or I haven't found it if there is.  I've got a resource-only dll that I want to swap the contents with another resource-only dll.  (why is a long story, that involves Authenticode signing, translation files, etc)

There's no option to do the reverse, that's right. This option will only be available in v2. The current version does not support for importing resources.
