Hello, friends!
I am a user of the excellent PE Explorer, and always used the program with great success.
What I like most is to edit PE resources by improving its interface.

Yesterday, for the first time, I encountered with a file that appears to be "protected from resources edition".
I open it in PE Explorer usually edit any desired resource, and save it, gives the message:
Old "SizeOfImage" and new "SizeOfImage" are NOT equal.
Update "SizeOfImage"?

Click yes or no, and the file edited is saved with a size about 25% less than the original file, and gives run error.
The file is in "Microsoft Visual C++ 7.0 [Debug]", and is not packed, has no reason to give error/warnning to be saved after editing resources.
Someone has been confronted with this problem?
Any ideas on how to solve?
I believe that the programm author edited in hexa the address of any section of the executable, to confuse the resource editor.

Thank you for your attention,
Brazil Developer ''  ''  ''

Hey Brazil Developer,

Without the file itself, I doubt that anyone could manage to find a way to help you out.
