Hello,

Disassembler have a feature allowing to "Mark" addresses as if they were the beginning of bytes streams, word streams, dword, guids, strings, etc.

Some of these "Mark" types seem to be guessed automatically by the dissassembler.

But if the guess was wrong, I would like to know how I can remove it or how I can override it by another one ?

Even if I set one manually, it seems to be set forever, if I set the wrong one, I cannot remove it nor replace it by another one without deleting and restarting the whole project.

Is there a specific command for this that I missed ?

Unfortunately, you can't remove it or override it in the current version.

Do you know when a version allowing that will be released ?

For me, this seems to be a quite essential feature (like if I had a text editor allowing to set font but without allowing it to be changed after having been set once) ...

We recognize the potential value of this feature, and it's on our wishlist. However, there should be some complex Undo mechanism, there are too many things to consider. We left out this functionality for version 2. At this time, I do not have a date for when v2 may become available.

I understand.

Although this is a little strange, as I am not requesting an "Undo" feature, just an overriding feature...

These are two sides of the same coin.

Btw, registered users can get around it by saving the project before marking the address. Not very elegant but there is no other way around it, sorry.
